Where adhesive is the right call
- Equipment and flight cases, toolboxes, helmets — smooth rigid surfaces.
- Retail and display: patches mounted on boards or packaging.
- Short-term fabric use (event badges on lanyards) — for garments that wash, choose iron-on or sew-on.
Common questions
They'll stick temporarily, but fabric flex and washing break the bond — that's iron-on or sew-on territory. Adhesive is for rigid, smooth surfaces.
On smooth plastic and metal, no — peel slowly and clean residue with a citrus remover. Test painted surfaces first.
