How a name run actually works
A name run is one digitised layout with variable text: the loom or embroidery head stitches each name individually from your list, so 'Khan', 'O'Brien' and 'MacDonald' come off the same run, each correct to the letter. You send the names one per line on the quote form — or a spreadsheet by email — and every name is checked against your list before a single stitch falls.

- 02Send your name list — the quote form takes it directly, one name per line.
- 03Approve one proof showing the layout, typeface and thread colours (with a sample name).
- 04We stitch the run name by name and reconcile every piece against your list at QC.

Common questions
Yes — that's exactly what a name run is. Variable text is stitched per piece from your list, and every name is reconciled against it at quality control. Mixed fonts within a run are fine too, as long as each piece is listed.
Ten pieces per production run, with every name in the run allowed to differ — a squad of ten different names is a single 10-piece order, not ten orders.
One name per line in the quote form's personalisation box, or a spreadsheet by email. We confirm spelling back to you on the proof before anything is stitched.
Woven tapes on sew-on backing are our school standard — rated to 60°C and industrial laundering. Iron-on is fine for lighter-duty use at 30°C.
