Patch Sizing Guide

Patches are priced and designed around dimensions, so getting the size right early saves a proof round. These are the sizes that work in practice, garment by garment.

How size moves the price

Price follows the average of width and height: up to 40mm is our smallest band, 60–80mm the standard band, and each step above adds roughly 15–20% per patch because stitch count and fabric grow together. The quote builder shows the effect of every millimetre instantly.

Common questions

By the bounding box: the widest and tallest points. A 90 × 70mm shield is priced as an 80mm patch (the average).

Different sizes of the same design are separate digitised runs, so each size counts as its own 10-piece minimum. Clubs usually standardise on two sizes to keep reorders simple.
